• Meter Calibration Slip
• Vehicle Registration
• Proof of Insurance - Including written proof that you have requested your insurance company to notify the taxi and limousine office of any changes to your insurance policy. Roof light owner to supply written proof within 7 days, to the taxi and limousine office that you have notified your insurance company to comply with this requirement
• Roof Light Owner MUST be present for the renewal process
• $50.00 Renewal Fee ($85.00 If Hotel Standards Inspection has to be paid)

NOTE: Per the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act, all taxicabs must renew their MVI annually, as the TWO year renewal rule DOES NOT APPLY to commercial vehicles.  Furthermore, for individuals purchasing a replacement vehicle, the MVI sticker must be obtained in the name of the vehicle owner at the time of taxi inspection.
